It's late August, Congress is in recess, and Trump is doing what Trump does in August: posting through it and yelling about Biden at rallies in swing states. Which means the prediction markets are basically pricing his behavior — and today, two of them got it wrong.

PredictIt is pricing the 120-or-fewer band at 1¢ YES / 99¢ NO. That means the market thinks there's a 1% chance he posts fewer than 120 truths this week. One percent.

We pulled the comparable Ted Cruz posts market and the leading bands were sitting at 100–139. That's not a fluke — a below-average posting week is a real, tangible thing that happens to human beings, even ones with unlimited thumb stamina.

Our model has true probability closer to 20%. Getting 1¢ on something that hits 1-in-5 times is the kind of pricing you screenshot. Every band on this market is showing NO at 98–99¢, which means the tail probability has to live somewhere. It's not living in this band, and that's the mispricing.
